Lend a Hand Foundation
The Lend a Hand - Give
an Arm Foundation benefits children in need of
prosthetic limbs and assists the families of those
children in many ways. This foundation was
started by the family of Charley Gentry, an
enthusiastic, energetic 13 year old in the Phoenix
area who is the epitome of positive attitude.
Charley, like the
children his foundation is helping, was born a
congenital upper and lower bilateral amputee, which
means he was born without arms or legs. Their primary
focus is prosthetic devises, complimented by
information on home automation and and assisted living
technologies, grants, parent to parent interaction and
education to address the often ignored emotional
situations. This foundation is helping wonderful
children by giving them the opportunity to succeed and blossom.
