Eye of Playa Ra (NFS)
From the Nice & Not for Sale Collection
The Eye of Playa Ra was originally sculpted in wax as a "Dream but Never Before Seen" Playa jewelry concept for Geoffrey Squire Silver. It was gifted in sterling silver and multiple tones of bronze at my second burn "Caravansary" in 2014.
The dusty backstory: In 2013 I made an incredible friend at Burning Man. Geoffrey Squire Silver. What an inspiration. Later I learned he was president for many, many years of the Oregon Country Faire, an event that knocked my creative socks off in the early 2000s - I had never experienced anything like it - until Burning Man blew the lid off. And yet now, the magic of the Oregon Country Faire makes so much sense.

Photo Notes
The Eye of Playa Ra on my scratched kitchen counter, and at Burning Man Caravansary with Geoffrey himself, the afternoon we planned the design. Also shown here on the gorgeous Playa with two other designs. One is a Nice Boomerang Charm and the piece to the right is a custom design "I Am Tripod" made for my Burner Bestie Kevin Price AKA Tripod. Find him - and a ton of amazing Burning Man and fire-dancing photos, with many featuring yours truly - on Instagram at TripodCam.
About the Nice & Not for Sale Collection
Some things in life - and at A Nice World - aren’t for sale. It might be because they’re too sentimental, or one of a kind, or available exclusively through our beneficiaries. Or maybe they were made for a world (Burning Man) where nothing is for sale. This piece is one Nice example.
